Experience. Lisa Jo Spencer has been practicing since 1994, with much of that time devoted to probate administration, probate and trust litigation, guardianship and estate planning matters. She is deeply familiar with Florida's complex probate laws. She has litigated numerous cases that arose out of others' poor drafting of estate planning documents or the mishandling of estates, and she knows how to help her clients avoid those pitfalls wherever possible. When clients come to us because they are involved in a dispute, Lisa Jo has the skills to help resolve it as quickly and effectively as possible.
Family Focus, We understand that estate planning, guardianship, and probate matters are about far more than dollars and cents. We strive to help you deal with the legal, financial, and administrative details of your matter, but we never lose sight of the reason we do this work: to protect, provide for, and preserve families. Attuned to the Needs of Our Community. The makeup of the Florida Panhandle community is unique, with many military families and veterans as well as retirees who were originally from out of state. As a veteran of the Air Force, Lisa Jo understands the particular needs and concerns of military families. In addition, much of our practice involves coordinating with the out-of-state relatives of Florida residents. We are comfortable dealing with the concerns and needs of those dealing remotely with a Florida probate or guardianship case.
Responsiveness. Nobody likes to wait for answers when they're dealing with a legal concern, especially one that pertains to their family.
